The Billie Barry Stage School was founded in 1964 by Billie Barry in Dublin, Ireland. It has become Ireland's premier, best known and most respected institution of its kind. With over forty years of tradition and an ethos of excellence it continues to thrive under the direction of Billie's daughter Lorraine Barry.
Billie Barry has become a household name due to the phenomenal success the School has enjoyed. Past pupils include Brian Mc Fadden, Samantha Mumba, Angeline Ball, Jacinta Whyte, Mikey Graham (Boyzone), Brenda Donoghue, Susan Mc Fadden and rising star Ruth-Anne Cunningham to name but a few.
The school caters for students aged 4-20 with enrolments twice yearly, September and January and is dedicated to providing well rounded professional tuition in dance, singing, theatrical performance, musical theatre and stagecraft.
The school runs daily and classes are structured according to age and ability with a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment. Every student is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential as personalities develop and confidence grows.
