Gaiety Theatre - Robin Hood and his Merry Men-2016/2017
The Gaiety Panto "Robin Hood and His Merry Men" will feature 16 Billie Barry kids- Clodagh Kane, Abby Redmond, Isabella Crinion, Lola Polley, Rebecca Moriarty, Ava O'Beirne, Ellie Mooney, Alannah Kelly, Zara Gray, Alannah Browne, Sarah McDonnell, Ciara Kelly, Darragh Malone, Conor O'Brien, Brendan Mullins and David Balasca. The Pantomine will be directed and choreographed by past pupil Daryn Crosbie with the school’s Peter Beckett as Musical Director.
Bord Gais Energy Theatre-“BIG THE MUSICAL” -2016/2017
Three of our students Kellie Morris, Katie Farmer and Olivia Byrne will feature in “BigThe Musical” at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre
University Concert Hall-Limerick” -Beauty and the Beast” 2016/2017
Two of our senior students Zoe Talbot and Chelsea Lawless will feature in Beauty and the Beast at the University Concert Hall, Limerick.
National Concert Hall-Dublin- 2016/2017
Five of our students featuring in “Bugsy Malone” at the National Concert Hall,Robert Duff playing the role of Bugsy, Lisa Nyengedza playing the role of Velma , with Lucy O' Neill, Daniel Devoy and Leo Ormond in the Festival Production.
National Concert Hall-Dublin- December, 2016
60 of our students will feature in “A CHRISTMAS FAMILY GALA” for two performances on Sunday 11th December, 2016.
The Billie Barry Stage School Show- Gaiety Theatre October, 2017
The Billie Barry Stage School will present an exciting production featuring all of its current students at the Gaiety Theatre from the 17th to 21st October 2017. More details to follow.
The Day Henry Met-2016
Congratulations to student Darragh Malone who features as the voice of Henry in “The Day Henry Met” which was bought by RTE jr, NickJR, TVO Canada, YLE Finland, SVT Sweden, with more broadcasters to follow. It also won the Best European Work award at the prestigious Pulcinella Awards in Venice, April 2015.
Ruth Anne Cunningham
Past Pupil Ruth-Anne co-wrote "Love You to Death" by Pixie Lott and "Beautiful World" by Westlife. Cunningham has written with some of the worlds biggest producers and songwriters including Red One, JR.Rotem, Toby Gad, Evan Bogart, Harvey Mason Jnr, Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander, Julian Bunetta, Guy Chambers, Andrew Frampton, Cutfather and Jayjay, Chris Braide, Labrinth, Quiz and Larossi, Jeff Bhasker, Alex Da Kidd, Stereotypes, Franne Golde, Phil Thornally, Mads Hauge, Karen Poole, Heather Bright, Livvi Franc, Jimmy Harry, Paul Epworth, Pete Martin, Danny and Mark from "The Script", TMS, Phrased differently, Future Cut, Naughty Boy, Mojam music and lots more. She was awarded with an ASCAP songwriters best pop award at the 24th annual ASCAP pop awards 2007 for "Too little too late". The ceremony was held in LA's Kodak Theatre. She has had songs on 3 platinum selling albums in the US and in Europe. She appeared as a vocalist on Avicii's ID played at Summerburst.
