"GOLD" The Billie Barry Stage School 50th Anniversary Celebration- Gaiety Theatre October, 2014
The Billie Barry Stage School will celebrate its Golden Jubilee with an exciting production "Gold" at the Gaiety Theatre, from 28th October to 1st November 2014, a spectacular action packed variety entertainment show for all the family. This wonderful evening will feature all of the School's current students from 4 years of age to 24 years of age who will combine their talents for this very special production. The show, which is produced, directed and choreographed by Lorraine Barry with Peter Beckett as Musical Director promises to delight audiences with scenes from 'Matilda', 'Shrek', 'The Great Gatsby', 'Mary Poppins', 'Sofia The First', 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates', featuring the music of Beyonce, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and lots more. The Special guests will be the hilarious June Rodgers in her latest comedic guises, Ryan O’Shaughnessy (Britain's Got Talent Finalist), Keith Hanna and Ruth Melody. Performances nightly at 7.30pm and Saturday Matinee at 2.30pm. The Billie Barry Stage School Golden Jubilee Ball
 
In addition to the 50th Anniversary show, a Golden Jubilee Reunion Ball will take place in The Round Room, Mansion House, Dublin on 8th November 2014. The evening will commence at 7.30p.m. with a drinks reception, a 3 course meal, entertainment, music and dancing until late. Lots of past pupils gathering and lots of excitement. Tickets are available now via the Facebook page "Billie Barry Golden Jubilee Reunion Ball". Proceeds of the night will be donated to the children's charity "To Russia With Love".
Gaiety Theatre, Dublin - "Peter Pan" - December 2014 - January 2015
This year sees the Billie Barry Kids make their 44th consecutive appearance in the Gaiety Theatre pantomime. Congratulations to Robert Donnelly and Adam Malone who will play the role of John and Darragh Malone and Conor Philips who will play the role of Michael, and Luke Tunney, Evan Walsh, Alex Partridge, Evan Wilkes, Robert Duff, Daniel Devoy, Ava Talbot, Katelynn Moriarty, Clodagh Kane, Katie Farmer, Kellie Morris and Isabella Crinion who will play the roles of the Lost Boys (and girls!) in this year’s Gaiety Panto “Peter Pan”. The Pantomime will be directed and choreographed by past pupil Daryn Crosbie.
Waitrose Christmas Commercial-2014
Congratulations to student Amy Dunne who travelled to London to start working on the Waitrose Christmas Commercial.
Institute of the Arts Barcelona
Best of luck to student Caoimhe Ennis who travelled to Barcelona to begin her degree course at the Institute of the Arts.
 
Waiting for Godot - Shanghai, China in November 2014
Congratulations to student Adam Malone who will travel to China in November with the Gare St. Lazare production of Waiting for Godot.
Eurovision 2014 - Copenhagen
Past pupils Thomas Spratt, Jenni Bowden and Donna Bissett travelled to Copenhagen with Kasey Smith to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest. The performance was choreographed by Thomas Spratt
Grease - Cork Opera House 2014
Past pupils Aisling Breen ,Linzi Cowap,Ruth Melody, Keith Hanna, Carl Maguire and Thomas Spratt all appeared in Grease at the Cork Opera House in 2014.
June Rodgers "Merry Month of June Tour" 2014
June Rodgers, Ireland's foremost funny lady is brought her stunning stage show to theatres around the country in 2014. Theatre Royal, Waterford - Glor, Ennis - Cork Opera House - Galway Town Hall - Mullingar Arts Centre - Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Dublin - Lime Tree Theatre, Limerick. The show was choreographed by past pupil Ciaran Connolly and featured past pupils Aisling Breen, Leah Moran, Dez Allen and Carl Maguire.
"Jesus Christ Superstar" Arena Tour - 2013/14
Congratulations to past pupil Alana Murrin who features in the "Jesus Christ Superstar" Arena tour. The tour has travelled from Australia and the U.K. and is currently in the U.S.A.
Gaiety Theatre, Dublin - "Snow White" - December 2013 - January 2014
The Billie Barry Kids made their 43rd consecutive appearance in the Gaiety Theatre pantomime. The Panto was directed and choreographed by past pupil Daryn Crosbie, past pupils Daniel 'Cheech' Maguire as Associate script writer and Alana Murrin as Assistant Choreographer with Peter Beckett as Musical Director.
Musicala 4- Clasac Theatre, November, 2013
The Billie Barry Stage School Choirs presented 'Musicala 4' at the Clasac Theatre. Alfie Byrne Road, Clontarf, in November which was a huge success.

Roy, Series Three and Four-2013
Huge Congratulations to student Robert Donnelly who plays Roy in the third and fourth series of " Roy". The series has been shown on RTE , CBBC and ABC3 in Australia. In 2012 the second series won the children's BAFTA drama award.
"The Food Guide to Love" Release date-June 2013
Huge congratulations to students Katie Farmer and Robert Donnelly who feature in the upcoming movie "The Food Guide To Love". They will join past pupil Chris Newman who also has a role.

Congratulations to student Sam Julien Grace who has been cast as the voice of Eoin in the animated Tv series 'Punky' for RTE jr. He joins student Adam Malone who features as the voice of Con, Punky's brother.

Congratulations to student Christen Mooney who features in the role of Aisling in the second series of Trivia for R.T.E.
The Voice of Ireland-RTE 1-2013
Congratulations to student Jennifer Healy who made to the 'The Battle' on The Voice of Ireland. Jenny also featured as vocalist with the RTE Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall in "You should be Dancing" a tribute to the Bee Gees and the Music of Abba.
Susan Mc Fadden & Lisa Lambe - Celtic Woman Believe Tour 2013
Huge congratulations to past pupils Susan Mc Fadden and Lisa Lambe who are currently performing in the global music phenomenon Celtic Woman on a 60 city North American tour including Radio City in N.Y.C. A European Tour follows.
Ciaran Connolly -ITV2's hit show 'The Big Reunion'
Congratulations to past pupil Ciaran Connolly who will feature in "The Big Reunion" tour following on from the successful ITV show. The show comes to the O2, Dublin in May,2013.
Chris Newman-2013
Past pupil Chris Newman is having a very successful start to 2013. Chris played Lewis in "Ribbons", a short play by Elaine Murphy, on the Peacock Stage, Abbey Theatre. He will feature in the BBC drama Quirke-Elergy starring Gabriel Byrne and is also shooting a movie 'Jack and Ralph plan a murder.

Congratulations to past pupil Sophie Hannah Byrne who was chosen to perform as support act for The Saturday's concert at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
Neil O'Brien- 'Starting Point(e)'- Smock Alley Theatre, 2013
Congratulations to past pupil Neil O'Brien who devised and choreographed 'Starting Point(e)' for Collaborations Festival at the Smock Alley Theatre to great acclaim. The show featured past pupils Aisling Breen, Ruth Devine and Danielle Ng.
London Studio Centre, 2012/2013
Congratulations to past pupil Sean Kavanagh who has received a 2nd year scholarship to continue his training at the London Studio Centre.
Ruth Anne Cunningham
Past Pupil Ruth-Anne recently co-wrote "Love You to Death" by Pixie Lott and "Beautiful World" by Westlife. Cunningham has written with some of the worlds biggest producers and songwriters including Red One, JR.Rotem, Toby Gad, Evan Bogart, Harvey Mason Jnr, Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander, Julian Bunetta, Guy Chambers, Andrew Frampton, Cutfather and Jayjay, Chris Braide, Labrinth, Quiz and Larossi, Jeff Bhasker, Alex Da Kidd, Stereotypes, Franne Golde, Phil Thornally, Mads Hauge, Karen Poole, Heather Bright, Livvi Franc, Jimmy Harry, Paul Epworth, Pete Martin, Danny and Mark from "The Script", TMS, Phrased differently, Future Cut, Naughty Boy, Mojam music and lots more. She was awarded with an ASCAP songwriters best pop award at the 24th annual ASCAP pop awards 2007 for "Too little too late". The ceremony was held in LA's Kodak Theatre. She has had songs on 3 platinum selling albums in the US and in Europe. She appeared as a vocalist on Avicii's ID played at Summerburst. She is busy writing her debut album with release plans for 2013.
