Congratulations to our fabulous BBKs appearing in ‘A Christmas Celebration’ at the National Concert Hall on Sunday 8th December. Such a beautiful venue to perform in and especially at Christmas. Students from the BBSS have been associated with this production for more than 30 years. |

Congratulations to these fabulous students, JAKE FARMER, KEAGAN HETHERINGTON, ELLA HANRAHAN, CARLY KANE and little JOANIE BYRNE on Christmas FM as they highlighted the need for help and support to BARNARDOS at Christmas. Well done all. Very proud of our long association with this wonderful charity.
Bad Sisters Season 2

Huge congratulations to student JAKE FARMER starring as RUBEN GARVEY in Season 2 of the hugely successful comedy series BAD SISTERS which premiered November 13th on Apple TV+.
This series stars Sharon Horgan, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, Anne-Marie Duff and many more. It received rave reviews for Season 1 and there is huge excitement for Season 2. How fantastic! Jake and his Mum Wendy (as his chaperone) had the most amazing time shooting this series. Well done! |

What a night!!!! What a truly magical time we had at the Billie Barry Stage School Diamond Jubilee Ball at the Round Room Mansion House.
It was a wonderful celebration with so many past and present pupils, parents and friends. Elegance and style as everyone walked the red carpet, followed by the party of all parties!
The fabulous Event Band was electric and everyone danced until the early hours. A memory to treasure forever… wish we could do it again.

Remembering Pat FarrellJUNE 2024
OLYMPIA THEATRE: Son of Billie Barry and legendary blues guitarist PAT FARRELL sadly passed away last January. A night of celebration paying tribute to Pat — featuring an incredible lineup of some of Ireland’s greatest musicians and performers — will be staged at the 3Olympia on June 6th 2024. Dinner With The Stars

SO EXCITED to launch our 60th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS tomorrow night with ‘Dinner with the Stars’. The fabulous BBSS fundraising team have been working on this since last December and have done an amazing job. It will be such a magical night.
There will be many events throughout the year, the biggest being our 60th Anniversary show ‘DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER’ at the magnificent GAIETY THEATRE in October. A hugely proud and exciting time.
My love and thanks to everyone for your incredible loyalty and support. Here’s to a very successful celebratory year ahead!

Gatsby The Musical

OUR FABULOUS Musical Director PETER BECKETT has written this super musical GATSBY. This musical will tear at your heart strings and make you jump for joy all at the same time. This one-night only concert performance with full cast and band will be staged at the Civic Theatre on Friday March 8th at 8pm and is not to be missed!
It will feature senior students CLODAGH KANE, LOLA MUNDOW POLLEY, OLIVIA MURPHY BYRNE and past pupil YASMINE MISSAOUI. Our great friend MICHAEL JOSEPH will also feature.
Presented by Peter’s company Break-A-Leg productions and directed by NOEL McDONOUGH this will be a truly wonderful night for sure! Everyone at the BBSS is so proud of you Peter. We are all saying a huge Break a leg!! Here’s to your success!

Gaiety Mock Panto - Cinderella
JANUARY 2024
WOW! What an incredible mock panto yesterday at the Gaiety Theatre. BBKs you smashed it! I can’t tell you how proud and emotional I felt watching each of you perform. You all shone so brightly and put on a totally professional show.
Huge congratulations to all 16 of you and your fabulous chaperones MIA SMITH and ISABELLE BELLINTANI who created such a fantastic mock. This is such a special tradition and a very relevant part of your panto experience. Huge thanks to the adult cast for your continuing love and support, to DONNA LEONARD and all the fabulous Gaiety crew for the stage sets, sound and lighting.
A big thank you also to PETER BECKETT, SARAH LYNCH and the Gaiety Panto orchestra. All of these wonderful theatrical people giving their time in the middle of a two show day to support our BBKs. Big thanks also to our senior BBKs who came on board yesterday to do makeup and quick changes.
Finally our wonderful panto parents. Thank you for all of your time and dedication creating costumes and always making sure the children are at rehearsals, I know you must have been bursting with pride.

RTE Dancing with the Stars

VERY PROUD and EXCITED to be supporting our fabulous and extremely talented past pupil DAVD WHELAN as he begins his DANCING WITH THE STARS journey on Sunday 7th January 2024 on RTE One at 6.30pm.
His pro partner will be the sensational Salomé Chachua and I’ve no doubt they will create many magical and exciting routines for us all to enjoy! GO DAVID! Everyone at the BBSS is very proud of you! |

This is a super production and we’re so proud of our BBKs BRENDAN MULLINS, CHARLIE GILL, ELODIE CURRY, LILA RICE and MONA SHEILS, as the Von Trapps and JAKE CHURCH, MAYA SHEILS, LIA SHEILS, ISABELLE UNDERWOOD, EMILY O’MEARA and ADAM O’MEARA as part of the ensemble.
Also so very proud of our fab past pupil ROISIN SULLIVAN in the role of Maria, she is superb. Very proud of you all!
